Project Description
The Great Ocean (Debris) is a VR-Experience and Game about how Climate Change and (plastic) pollution have an influence on the oceans and our lifes and what can and is being done about it.
In the VR-Experience the player can choose different regional chapters from around the globe of threatened regions or cities and then explore these – following the natural water cycle – through different levels from the bathtub to the sea floor and back to witness the changing environment and marine life and how our life is connected to it in many ways. We connect therefore the places where we live and that we can directly relate to with the ocean life, that often seems very far from us (in being influenced by us or us being able to change it). One key aim is to show positive examples of what is being done and what everybody can do to make an end to (plastic) pollution of our world and how to reduce your impact on the climate.
